The Otemu Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for underprivileged students in Delta State, Nigeria. The foundation provides scholarships and resources to talented students who lack the financial means to pursue their academic dreams.

The foundation was established by His Excellency, former Executive Governor of Delta State, Chief James O. Ibori. Their vision is to uplift talented yet financially disadvantaged students by providing them with educational opportunities.

Indigent students aged 16-22 from Delta State, Nigeria, with at least 5 credits in WASCE/NECO, a minimum JAMB score of 200, and a commitment to studying at Western Delta University, Oghara.

Students can apply for scholarships through the foundation's dedicated web portal. The application process includes submitting necessary documents and meeting the eligibility criteria set by the foundation.

Applicants must submit their personal information, guardian details, academic results (WASCE/NECO certificate and JAMB result), and any supporting documentation proving financial need.

Yes, unsuccessful applicants can reapply in subsequent years, provided they still meet the eligibility criteria.

Scholarship recipients are selected through a rigorous process that includes reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and assessing the candidates' academic and personal achievements. The selection is made by a Scholarship Committee and approved by the foundation's board.
